Tech Soccer Travels to Canyon to Face Lady Buffs

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech soccer team will continue its spring schedule this weekend, traveling north to Canyon, Texas, to face West Texas A&M at noon Sunday at The Pitch.
The Red Raiders enter the weekend 3-0-1 on the spring, having already defeated Houston, Miami (Fla.) and UTEP. Tech's only non-win came in a 1-1 tie to Big 12 foe Oklahoma State. West Texas A&M finished its 2008 season 16-4-1, playing in the Lone Star Conference on the NCAA's Division II level.
Despite recent winter weather around both the Canyon and Lubbock area, the match is not expected to be rescheduled.
The Red Raiders conclude their spring slate on April 4 as Tech travels to Fort Worth, Texas, to face TCU.
