Texas A&M now leads the all-time series 88-53 but the Red Raiders still maintain a 35-32 advantage in games played in Lubbock.
Senior first baseman Chris Richburg extended his Big 12 hit streak to 11 games with an RBI single in the third.
Junior shortstop Joey Kenworthy hit his first home run of the season in the bottom of the fourth inning. His two run blast pulled Tech within four runs (9-5) and was just the third home run of his career. Two of his three career home runs have come against Texas A&M.
Kenworthy led the Tech offense as he went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored. The four hits marked a new career high.
Texas Tech will hand the ball to senior RHP Miles Morgan tomorrow afternoon in hopes of getting a series win over the No. 11 Aggies. Morgan is 1-4 on the year with his only win coming against Southern Utah on Feb. 21.
