- Texas A&M now leads the all-time series 88-53 but the Red Raiders still maintain a 35-32 advantage in games played in Lubbock.
- Senior first baseman Chris Richburg extended his Big 12 hit streak to 11 games with an RBI single in the third.
- Junior shortstop Joey Kenworthy hit his first home run of the season in the bottom of the fourth inning. His two run blast pulled Tech within four runs (9-5) and was just the third home run of his career. Two of his three career home runs have come against Texas A&M.
- Kenworthy led the Tech offense as he went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored. The four hits marked a new career high.
- Texas Tech will hand the ball to senior RHP Miles Morgan tomorrow afternoon in hopes of getting a series win over the No. 11 Aggies. Morgan is 1-4 on the year with his only win coming against Southern Utah on Feb. 21.
