- Freshman RHP Louis Head made his first career Big 12 start in today's series finale against the Wildcats.
- Today's loss snapped a three-game win streak by the Red Raiders but they remain in seventh place in the Big 12 standings.
- Senior first baseman Chris Richburg hit two home runs in today's game to give him his second career two home run day. He hit two earlier this season in the series finale at Baylor.
