Lady Raider Nobles Tears Achilles, Out for the Season

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head women's basketball coach Kristy Curry has announced that freshman post player Shauntal Nobles will miss the entire 2009-10 season after suffering a torn Achilles during preseason conditioning.
The 6-3 post from Haslet, Texas, suffered the injury on Fri., Sept. 4, and had successful surgery on Sat., Sept. 5.
The Lady Raiders will now have a 12-player roster entering the 2009-10 season, which tips-off on Sat., Nov. 14, against Sam Houston State at 11:45 a.m., at the United Spirit Arena.
