Lady Raiders at Covenant Women's and Children's Hospital
LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball team stopped by to visit children at Covenant Women's and Children's hospital today. Community service is a big part of the Lady Raider basketball program.
The Lady Raiders and head coach Kristy Curry spent time with children in the Family Room, where the decorated cookies, signed autographs and took pictures. From there, they made their way up the children's floor to visit patients who were unable to make it down to the family room. The Lady Raiders delivered toys to each room and visited with the children.
Last month the team went to the Carillon House where they served dinner to the residents and then spent time visiting with them as well.
