NOTING THE RED RAIDERS
- After falling behind 21-0, senior running back Baron Batch put the Red Raiders on the board with a 1-yard touchdown run. The rushing touchdown was his fourth of the season and the 26th of his career.
- Junior linebacker Sam Fehoko picked up his first career sack to end an OSU drive with 8:40 left in the second quarter.
- Sophomore receiver Cornelius Douglas scored Tech's second touchdown catch of the afternoon when he hauled in a 28-yard pass with 5:54 remaining in the first half. The touchdown was the first of his career.
- Senior linebacker Bront Bird picked up his first career interception on Oklahoma State's first offensive possession of the third quarter. The turnover was the first created by the Tech defense since the Texas game.
- Senior place kicker Matt Williams connected on a 27-yard field goal with 2:13 remaining in the third quarter to pull the Red Raiders within 14 (31-17).
- Sophomore DJ Johnson picked up his second interception of the season and the third of his career with 22 seconds left to go in the third quarter.
- Sophomore running back Eric Stephens rushed for a career-high 99 yards on 15 carries.
- The Texas Tech offense rang up 175 rushing yards on 38 attempts.
