Lady Raiders Headed to Big 12 Media Day

LUBBOCK, Texas - The 2010-11 Big 12 Conference Basketball Media Days will be held at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., Oct. 20-21. The women's portion will be held on Wed., Oct. 20.

The Texas Tech women's basketball team will be represented by head coach Kristy Curry, junior Jordan Barncastle and sophomore Monique Smalls.

For the second year, The Big 12 Report on Big12sports.com will conduct a live, on-site show during the entire media day. Wendall Barnhouse will be the host. The show will also stream press conferences. Curry's press conference will be held from 3:20-3:30 p.m. and can be seen on Big12sports.com. The Lady Raiders open the 2010-11 season on Fri., Nov. 12, at New Mexico at 8 p.m. CDT.
