Red & Black Series Rosters Announced

All games of the series will be played at Dan Law Field and admission is free

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head baseball coach Dan Spencer announced the Red & Black Series rosters Friday afternoon for his Red Raiders who will finish their fall practice season with a five-game series, Oct. 24-28.

The annual Red & Black Series begins with a tailgate at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24, for Diamond Club members. All games of the series will be played at Dan Law Field and admission is free.

The series opener will be played at 4 p.m. on Sunday, before games two and three which are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. Game four is slated for 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and the Red & Black Series will conclude on Thursday with a 5 p.m. first pitch.

The Red Team roster is highlighted by nine returning players, including returning all-conference selections Jamodrick McGruder (INF) and Barrett Barnes (OF). The Red squad has a roster of 18 players with 10 players listed as pitchers.

The Black Team has seven players who were Red Raiders last season, including second team all-conference pick Scott LeJeune (OF). A 17-player roster, the Black Team has 11 total players that are listed as pitchers.
