Lady Raiders Among the Best in 2010 Recruiting Class

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head women's tennis coach, Todd Petty, received very positive news about his Class of 2010 signings in national rankings released earlier today.
The Tennis Recruiting Network placed Texas Tech's Class of 2010 in the No. 20 spot in their latest national rankings.
Coach Petty declared, "I believe this national recognition is a credit to Todd Chapman's diligence with our recruiting. It's also a credit to Texas Tech and all the positive exposure the university has received across the country. The Class of 2010 ranking illustrates the direction our tennis program is taking."
The 2010 recruiting class rankings are based on votes from a panel of junior tennis experts. Journalists, tournament directors, referees, and ranking chairs from across the country have voted on these recruiting classes.
All commitments reported through January 10, 2010 are included.
