LUBBOCK, Texas - With the 2010 college baseball season just days away, the excitement is building on campus and that energy will come to fruition at 4 p.m. on Friday when junior right-hander Chad Bettis delivers the first pitch against Jacksonville State.
Red Raider fans that can't make Tech's season opener and subsequent games this season both at home and on the road will have one quick option to follow all the action. Texas Tech Baseball's GameDay Central has been expanded for 2010 to give Red Raider fans every possible option to follow games from the first pitch to the final out - and then some.
Beginning this season, Red Raider baseball fans can follow Gametracker (live scoring), interact in a live game blog, watch live video (home games only), listen to the Texas Tech Sports Network radio broadcast and receive Facebook and Twitter updates all in one location. Additionally, fans can get a complete game recap, box score and postgame notes and quotes from GameDay Central if they are unable to follow the live action.
Fans attending the game can also find pertinent information regarding ticket sales, parking, security and weather all from GameDay Central.
