LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head football coach Tommy Tuberville will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Friday as part of baseball's 2010 opening day ceremonies.

Tuberville, who was named Tech's 14th head football coach in early January, will sign autographs for fans on the concourse at Dan Law Field beginning at 3 p.m. before throwing out the first pitch prior to Tech's season opener against Jacksonville State at 4 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring one autograph item per person as well as digital cameras for photo opportunities.
