Apartment Challenge at Lady Raider Game

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball team and head coach Kristy Curry are excited to announce an apartment complex attendance challenge on Sun., Feb. 28, as the Lady Raiders take on Oklahoma State at 12 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena.
The challenge promotion encourages student apartment complexes in the Lubbock community to encourage their residences to attend this game and cheer on the Lady Raiders.
The participates include: The Suites at Overton Park, The Centre at Overton Park, Raiders Pass, University Trails, University Point, U Lofts, University Courtyard and The Grove.
Each participating complex will have a special table set up at the student entrance on game day and all residents who attend from their complex will be able to register for a chance to win a month of free rent or special voucher towards rent from their respective residence. Special promotional items and informational materials will also be provided by each of the apartment complexes represented.
During halftime, one resident will be randomly selected from each of the complexes that are participating in the challenge for a chance to win free rent or a special voucher towards rent from their residence. The students selected will have a chance to shoot a free throw to win.
The apartment complex with the most residents who attend will be crowned the Grand Champions of Attendance Challenge. A special presentation banner will presented to the winning complex to be displayed in their lobby area.
Doors to the United Spirit Arena open at 10:30 a.m., and fans can purchase $1 general admission tickets to this game. All Tech students get in free with a Tech ID card.
