Mallard Suspended From Lady Raider Basketball Team

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head women's basketball coach Kristy Curry has indefinitely suspended sophomore center Kierra Mallard effective immediately.
"Sometimes you have to make decisions that are best for your team, and I believe this is the right thing for our program at this time," said Curry.
Curry has a policy not to discuss personnel decisions and will not comment on this issue any further.
