Lady Raiders Face Two Unbeaten Teams

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Lady Raiders (6-7, 1-2 Big 12) continue Big 12 play this weekend as they take on two unbeaten teams in conference play.
The Lady Raiders travel to Austin for Friday's match with the No. 35 Texas Longhorns. UT is 6-3 for the season and shutout Kansas State and Kansas in their first two conference matches this season.
In Austin, the 1 p.m. match will be played at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center.
Texas A&M (7-4, 2-0 Big 12) opened with a 7-0 victory over Kansas in their first conference match on March 19. The No. 44 Texas A&M women's tennis team improved to 15-0 all-time against Kansas State with a 5-2 victory against the Wildcats on March 21.
Sunday's match against the Aggies is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at the McLeod Tennis Center.
The Texas Tech Lady Raiders garnered their first conference match of the season with their 5-1 win over the No. 56 Cowgirls of Oklahoma State on March 21 at the McLeod Tennis Center.
After facing two ranked Big 12 opponents this weekend, the Lady Raiders are away for their next two matches. On April 9, Texas Tech travels to Nebraska for a 5 p.m. match against the Huskers. The Lady Raiders will face the Iowa State Hawkeyes on April 11 at 8:30 a.m.
