Texas Tech will look to snap a two-game losing streak on Tuesday evening down in the Permian Basin at Midland's Citibank Ballpark. The Red Raiders will meet the New Mexico State Aggies and first pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. Texas Tech suffered a 2-1 series loss this weekend at home against No. 8 Texas to fall to 12-14 on the year while New Mexico State swept a three-game home series with Wofford to improve to 17-10. Tickets for the game can must be purchased at the gate.
RED RAIDERS IN MIDLAND
For the sixth time in the last seven years, Texas Tech will head to Midland on Tuesday for a game at Citibank Ballpark. Since 2004, Tech has compiled an 11-1 overall record at Citibank Ballpark which is the home to the Oakland A's Double-A affiliate Midland Rockhounds. Tech's only loss in Midland came last season in the first game of a doubleheader against UTSA. Tech dropped a 2-0 decision to the Roadrunners and then responded with a 7-6 win in the nightcap.

Neither New Mexico State nor Texas Tech is ranked by the USA TODAY/ESPN TOP 25 Coaches Poll, Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball Magazine or the NCBWA.

UP NEXT
Texas Tech will get back to Big 12 Conference play this weekend as they host the No. 20 Kansas State Wildcats for a three-game series. The series will begin on Thursday and conclude on Saturday due to the Easter holiday on Sunday.

TEXAS TECH/NEW MEXICO STATE SERIES NOTES
- Tuesday's game against New Mexico State will mark the 53rd all-time meeting between the Red Raiders and the Aggies. The two teams's first met back on March 31, 1965 and the result was an 11-1 Red Raider win.
- Texas Tech is riding a two-game win streak against the Aggies after sweeping a two-game split series back in 2008. Tech won a 12-2 game at Dan Law Field on April 22 and then took a 16-10 decision over the Aggies at Coca-Cola Field in Roswell.
