Murphree, Roberson Named Honorable Mention All-Big 12

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech seniors Jordan Murphree and Ashlee Roberson were selected honorable mention All-Big 12, which was voted on by the conference coaches and announced by the league office today.
Murphree, a native of Brock, Texas, has started all 30 games for the Lady Raiders and is averaging a team-best 12.4 points per game and is second on the team in assists with 94 and steals with 57. The San Antonio, Texas, native Roberson is also averaging a team-high 12.4 points per contest and also grabbing a team-high 8.6 rebounds per outing. She is second on the team in blocks with 24 and is shooting 43.7 percent from the field.
The Lady Raiders head to the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship this week as the No. 8 seed and face No. 9 seed Kansas State in the first round on Thurs., March 11, at 11 a.m., at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
