- Junior RHP Chad Bettis has now logged three saves in his last three outings. He picked up back-to-back stops last weekend against No. 20 Kansas State and went 2 2/3 innings today against the Cowboys for his fifth save of the year and his third in Big 12 play.
- Taylor Ashby extended his team-best hit streak to eight games while freshman first baseman Barrett Barnes moved his streak to seven. Junior designated hitter Scott LeJeune went 0-for-5 and had his seven-game streak halted.
- Jeremy Mayo became the second Red Raider to hit two home runs in a single game as Barrett Barnes has done so twice this year and most recently on Tuesday at UNLV.
