LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Lady Raiders (7-10, 2-5 Big 12) play their final three home matches of the 2009-2010 season when they host No. 63 Colorado on Friday at 4 p.m., and Missouri on Sunday at 11 a.m. with non-conference opponent, St. Edward's, following one hour after the conclusion of the Lady Raiders/Tigers match at the McLeod Tennis Center.
Last week, the Lady Raiders lost a close match at No. 45 Nebraska, 4-3, and then defeated Iowa State, 5-2, before returning home.
In those two matches, doubles duo Kelsy Garland and Natalie won both of their doubles matches and each won a singles match. Freshmen Elizabeth Ullathorne and Caroline Starck each won their singles matches at Nebraska and Iowa State, and Caroline and Stefanie Peana won their doubles match at ISU. Freshman Sandra Dynka downed Nebraska's No.1 singles player in three sets.
After the final three home matches this weekend, Texas Tech makes their second conference trip north as they close out the regular season with matches at Kansas on April 23 and Kansas State on April 25 before the Big 12 Championships begin on April 29 in Austin, Texas.
