- Texas Tech finishes the regular-season with a 27-27 overall record and a 13-14 mark in Big 12 Conference play. The Red Raiders will finish the season in fifth place in the Big 12 regular-season standings - five spots better than predicted by the league coaches back in January.
- Texas Tech has now been swept by Nebraska at Haymarket Park in each of its last three appearances here. Tech's last win Lincoln was in the series finale back in 2004.
- Nebraska now leads the all-time series 29-21.
- The series sweep to Nebraska is the first suffered by the Red Raiders since dropping all three games last year at Missouri (April 24-26, 2009).
- Texas Tech Head Coach Dan Spencer now has a career record of 52-59 and a Big 12 record of 25-29.
- Sophomore designated hitter Scott LeJeune is now riding a 17-game hit streak after going 2-for-3. He also hit his 27th double of the season in the second inning.
