LUBBOCK, Texas - The 2010 soccer season has gotten underway as the team began training camp this week. One of this year's newcomers is junior Whitney Sharpe, who transfered to Tech from UCLA.

Head coach Tom Stone says Sharpe is one of the best attacking defenders in the country and a perfect fit for his team's system of play.
