Lady Raiders Begin Community Game Plan

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball team kicks-off its 2010 Community Game Plan this week with three events beginning on Fri., Oct. 1, at the Texas Tech soccer match versus Colorado.
The Lady Raiders will begin their Community Game Plan as they attend the Red Raider soccer match on Fri., Oct. 1, at 6:15 p.m. The team will be handing out posters and signing autographs prior to the match.
The next day (Sat., Oct. 2) Tech will be at two events starting with the Race for the Cure beginning at 7:30 a.m. The team will be walking the race once again this year in support of breast cancer awareness.
The Lady Raiders will follow up the Race for the Cure with an appearance at the South Plains Fair. The team will be handing out posters and signing autographs in the Merchant Building from 1-2 p.m.
The women's basketball team will be making a number of other appearances throughout the months of October and November. Details on each appearance will be released at www.texastech.com prior to each event.
