TicketCity Bowl Champions To Be Honored On Saturday

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech fans are encouraged to fill the United Spirit Arena on Saturday for a double dose of Red Raider basketball and football.
The men's basketball team will host the Nebraska Cornhuskers for the final time on Saturday evening with tipoff set for 6:30 p.m. (CT). At halftime, the 2010 Texas Tech Football team will be recognized and awarded the TicketCity Bowl championship trophy. The Red Raiders won the TicketCity Bowl back on New Year's Day by virtue of a 45-38 victory over Northwestern.
During the halftime ceremony, Texas Tech head football coach Tommy Tuberville, who just received a contract extension that will keep him here through 2015, will address the crowd.
Tickets for Saturday's game are priced at $18 but children 12 and under will receive free admission with a paid adult ticket. Saturday's game will also be "Texas Tech University System Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day" and all staff and faculty family members can purchase tickets for $10.
