LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Volleyball and head coach Don Flora are encouraging all fans to pack the United Spirit Arena in black Wednesday night as the Red Raiders host Texas A&M for the final time as Big 12 Conference members.
The match is slated for a 6:30 p.m. start with local television coverage being provided on Fox News Now, which is channel No. 9 on Suddenlink.
In addition to the blackout, Wednesday is also Feed the Fan night as the first 100 fans in the USA will receive a free sandwich from Schlotzky's. Tech fans are also encouraged to keep up with the department's social media sites as special check-in deals and coupons will be announced throughout the week.
The Red Raiders (14-7; 0-6) will be looking to break a recent slump against the Aggies (15-4; 4-2), who are coming off a five-set victory over then-No. 22 Oklahoma last Wednesday evening. Tech, meanwhile, fell to Missouri in four sets last Saturday in Columbia.
