LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball team and head coach Kristy Curry want to invite everyone to come out to the Texas Tech Club for "Breakfast and Basketball" on Friday, Oct. 28.
The event is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., and includes an all-inclusive breakfast at the Texas Tech Club, located on the East side of Jones AT&T Stadium. Fans will get the chance to hear from coach Curry and seniors Jordan Barncastle and Kierra Mallard.
All fans can attend a FREE open practice at United Spirit Arena from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fans can park for free in the North lot of the USA and will be provided with complimentary soft drinks and popcorn at practice.
"I hope everyone takes this opportunity to come out and get their first look at the Lady Raiders before our season begins," Curry said. "We are excited about another great season of basketball and hope our fans can be with us all season long for the ride."
Fans can also register at the event for a number of exciting prize packages, including 2011-12 season tickets and autographed items.
