TEXAS TECH ANNOUNCES BASKETBALL PARKING PROCEDURES

LUBBOCK, Texas - In an effort to maximize convenience to those attending the United Spirit Arena during the 2011-12 basketball season, Texas Tech Athletics has introduced revised game day parking procedures. For details on parking opportunities, refer to the parking map provided.
Reserved parking will remain available to fans in the lot immediately west of Indiana Ave. Those wishing to utilize the reserved lot may purchase season passes through the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office.
A limited number ADA spaces will be available in the lot immediately west of the United Spirit Arena. Additional ADA parking will be also available in the donor lot north of the arena.
Red Raider Scholarship Fund donors at or above a $4,000 annual commitment level may utilize the donor parking lot immediately north and south of the United Spirit Arena. The north donor parking area will expand east of the service ramp during Big 12 Conference games and occupy portions of the Texas Tech Recreation Center parking lot.
Various free parking will be located east of the Texas Tech Federal Credit Union as well as in the greenhouse lots located just north of Main Street as detailed in the attached map.
Additionally, the shuttle service previously provided by CitiBus from the parking lots near the John Walker Soccer Complex will be discontinued for the 2011-12 season.
Season tickets for both the men's and women's basketball seasons remain available. Men's season ticket packages begin at $275 and women's season ticket packages begin at $175. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office at (806) 742-4412 or by visiting texastech.com/tickets.
