- Tech's top two hitters in the lineup, Mikey Kenney and McKenzie Clemmons, combined to go 6-for-8 at the plate with two runs scored and two RBIs. Clemmons was making her first start of the year in left field.
- After a rough day at the plate on Friday, Cydney Allen rebounded at the plate with a 2-for-3 day with a run scored and an RBI.
- Logan Hall continued her success from Friday as the junior notched a 2-for-2 day at the plate with two RBI. Through three games of the tournament, Hall has six total RBIs.
- Kelsey Dennis' five innings pitched was her longest outing of the year. She previously went three innings against Bradley a week ago before failing to get an out against Appalachian State two days later. Her performance cut her earned-run average in half as it currently stands at 3.50.
- Seven of Tech's nine starting position players had at least one hit in the game with four ending with more than one hit.
