Starting the Game
Teena Wickett (F), Kierra Mallard (C), Christine Hyde (G), Casey Morris (G) and Monique Smalls (G) started for the Lady Raiders. The Cowgirls sent out Toni Young (F), Vicky McIntyre (C), Tiffany Bias (G), Jenni Bryan (G) and Carissa Crutchfield (G) for the tip-off.
At the Half
Tech led, 31-23.
Casey Morris led the Lady Raiders with 12 points while Kierra Mallard had seven rebounds.
Vicky McIntyre led the Cowgirls with 12 points and six rebounds.
Tech outrebounded Oklahoma State 18-15.
The Lady Raiders had 10 steals and gave up six.
Tech shot 44 percent from the field while Oklahoma State shot 39.3 percent.
The Lady Raiders shot 50 percent from behind the arc while the Cowgirls shot 14.3 percent.
Odds and Ends
Tech won, 57-48.
Casey Morris led the Lady Raiders with 17 points with Kierra Mallard leading with 10 rebounds.
Vicky McIntyre led the Cowgirls with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Tech outrebounded Oklahoma State 40-34.
The Lady Raiders had 16 steals and gave up eight.
Tech shot 70 percent from the free-throw line and the Cowgirls shot 50 percent.
The Lady Raiders' 20 wins is the most in the Kristy Curry era and the most since the 2004-05 when Lady Raiders advanced to the Sweet 16.
Tech also notched their seventh conference win, the most under head coach Kristy Curry.
For the third time this season the Lady Raiders had 16 steals, just two shy of the season-high 18 set against Missouri.
Kierra Mallard is now only 17 points away from being the 28th player in Lady Raider history to score 1,000 points.
With the Win
The Lady Raiders head to Austin to play their final regular-season away game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. to face the Longhorns.
