Prunty Named Rivals.com Big 12 Recruiter of the Year

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech assistant coach Robert Prunty has been selected the Big 12 Recruiter of the Year and one of the top 25 recruiters in the country by Rivals.com, the website has announced.

Just days after being named the top recruiter in the Big 12 by Scout.com/FoxSports.com, Prunty was named among the top recruiters in all the land.

Prunty, who completed his first year at Tech in 2010, joined Tommy Tuberville's staff at Tech after serving as the head football coach at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., where he was hired in 2002. Prunty coached 27 players at Hargrave that went on to the NFL.
