Women's Tennis Hits the Road for Two Matches

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis team will look to rebound this weekend as it hits the road for matches on Fri., April 15 with Colorado and Missouri on Sun., April 17.
The Lady Raiders are coming off a tough 4-3 loss to Nebraska. It was the first loss at home for the squad. Tech had won its previous 10 matches at home prior to Nebraska.
Tech has seen strong play out of its No. 5 and No. 6 spots with Haley Fournier and Nikki Sanders. Fournier has won her last three matches and is 5-2 in Big 12 play. Sanders' win streak sits at four matches and is 9-1 in her last 10.
The doubles have had success all season with all three sitting at 5-2 in conference. Sanders and Carolien Starck have the best record at 13-3 but Fournier and Elizabeth Ullathorne have matched them win wise with a 13-4 record.
Tech (15-5, 5-2) will take on Colorado (3-14, 0-7) on Fri., April 15 at 2 p.m. (CST) followed by a matchup with Missouri (11-8, 3-6) in Columbia, Miss., on Sun., April 17 at 12 p.m. (CST).
