Red Raiders Add Two JUCO Standouts to Recruiting Class

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head baseball coach Dan Spencer has announced two additions to his signing class for the 2011-2012 year, as outfielder Devon Conley (New Mexico Junior College) and infielder/outfielder Brennan Moore (Grayson County College) have signed official National Letters of Intent.
Texas Tech has now inked eight incoming prospects, as Spencer and the Red Raiders received six NLI's in the early signing period during November.
Conley (Rio Rancho, N.M.) is regarded as one of the top outfielders in the junior college ranks and has been tabbed as the No. 68 JUCO player in the nation by Perfect Game USA. Conley is currently batting .365 (62-for-170) with 59 runs (seventh in the nation), 10 doubles, five triples and one home run with 24 RBI. He has 32 walks and nine hit-by-pitch while only striking out 25 times. In addition, Conley leads the team with 17-of-22 stolen bases.
Moore (Decatur, Texas) has led Grayson County College to a No. 4 national ranking while hitting .392 (67-for-171) with 54 runs, 17 doubles (14th in the country), three triples and five home runs with 38 RBI. Moore has 19 multi-hit games and had a career game against Midland College going 5-for-6 with two doubles, two home runs and five runs scored on February 16 this season.
