LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head women's basketball coach Kristy Curry has announced that redshirt sophomore Lindie Kimbro's playing career has come to an end due to injury.

Kimbro will not return to the team this fall but will continue her education at Texas Tech.

"I will be forever grateful for the opportunity afforded me by coach Kristy Curry and her staff," said Kimbro. "I was honored to have represented Lady Raider Nation and the Lubbock community. I look forward to completing my education here and supporting all that embodies Texas Tech."

In her two years, the Kyle, Texas, native, played in 19 games and averaged 0.7 points and 0.6 rebounds.
