Tech Tennis to Honor Senior Kelsy Garland

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis team will honor senior Kelsy Garland before tomorrow's match with Iowa State at 4 p.m. at the McLeod Tennis Complex.
The two-year team captain is currently third place on Tech's all-time career single victory list with 69. She is fifth on the all-time double career victories with 73 and was named to the All-Big 12 Doubles team in 2009. She is a two-time first team academic All-Big 12 member and was named to the ITA All-Academic team in 2010.
"As a team captain for the last two years Kelsy will go down as one of the best players to ever play at Texas Tech," head coach Todd Petty said. "Her dedication and hard work will never be forgotten."
Garland will be recognized before the Iowa State match tomorrow at 4 p.m. at the McLeod Tennis Complex.
