"Meet The Two-Deep" is an exclusive daily feature at texastech.com designed to allow Red Raider Nation to connect with this year's football team. The players in this feature made the official "two-deep" following spring practices, which means they will be competing for a starting spot when Texas Tech opens the 2011 football season at home against Texas State on Sept. 3. Check-in each morning at 10 a.m. (CT) on texastech.com and get to know a different member of your Red Raider football team.

What goes through your mind when running onto the field with the team on a gameday?
"Just go out there and get a win. That is the main thing I am thinking of, is going to get that win."
What is your favorite thing about being a Red Raider?
"My favorite thing about being a Red Raider is coming to work everyday knowing I am getting better."
Is there a motto or phrase you live by?
"The motto or phrase I personally think I go back is to motivate yourself before you let somebody else motivate you because it starts with self, anything you do in life."
What is your personal goal for this season?
"My personal goal is to go out there and give the team 110 percent of everything I have and just leave it all on the field every game."
Do you have any hidden talents?
"I guess I am a barber. I am like the team barber, I cut the hair and stuff. I guess that is the only hidden talent I have."
Who is the biggest influence for you both on and off the field?
"I would say my son and my wife."
What has been the biggest difference for you personally from your first year at Tech to where you are now in your career?
"Being consistent. Over time I have to learn it is not high school anymore and it's all about consistency in everything you do. So I would say being consistent."
Give your personal message to the Red Raider Nation.
"Red Raider nation we are coming for you, baby! 2011 is going to be all ours!"
