LUBBOCK, Texas - Construction at Dan Law Field has hit the two-week mark as now all suites, press box area and elevator have been taken down. Also all of the aluminum slats that were the walk way on the suite level and which were the base for the suites/press box have also been removed.
The biggest initial difference in appearances has been the removal of the suites and press box and now obviously the elevator. Driving in behind "The Law" and also viewing the grandstands from the field shows this obvious difference.
Now it will be interesting to see which part of the "old" stadium will be targeted next or which part of the new structure will be first to go up.
