"Meet The Two-Deep" is an exclusive daily feature at texastech.com designed to allow Red Raider Nation to connect with this year's football team. The players in this feature made the official "two-deep" following spring practices, which means they will be competing for a starting spot when Texas Tech opens the 2011 football season at home against Texas State on Sept. 3. Check-in each morning at 10 a.m. (CT) on texastech.com and get to know a different member of your Red Raider football team.

What goes through your mind when running onto the field with the team on a gameday?
"There is no better place. All the emotions you can imagine. There is no other place I would rather be on Saturdays."
What is your favorite thing about being a Red Raider?
"Everything. From football, but not only football, being in school and just the atmosphere of Lubbock and the people around it. It is a great place to be."
Is there a motto or a phrase you live by?
"Work hard everyday."
What is your personal goal for this season?
"Make every play I can possible and I am not a big personal person. My main thing is that I have never won a championship and that is what I want to do."
Do you have any hidden talents?
"I can't say that I do."
Do you have any hidden talents?
"I am the best dancer on the team."
Who are some of the major influences in your life, both on and off the field?
"My parents. My dad doesn't like to do his job every morning but, like my personal message to work hard everyday, he gets up and goes to work and does what he needs to do and raised a family. So my parents are my biggest influence on me."
What has been the biggest difference for you personally from your first year at Tech to where you are now in your career?
"Just growing up and being a man, everything that it is in life. From the commitment, getting things done to being responsible, and football teaches you that and just growing a lot in life."
Give your personal message to Red Raider Nation.
"Let's go get it!"
