One year after the start of the Raider Walk, head football coach Tommy Tuberville is looking to add another tradition to Texas Tech game day beginning this season.
Texas Tech is looking for a third quarter anthem that will be played at the end of the period. Much like Wisconsin's "Jump Around," the song will be used to raise the noise level at Jones AT&T Stadium and provide a boost of energy for the Red Raiders as they enter the critical fourth quarter.
Fans are encouraged to submit their choices for this song, sponsored by City Bank, online at texastech.com or through facebook (www.facebook.com/ttuathletics) until Tuesday, Aug. 9. On Wednesday, Aug. 10, the Top 10 selections will be revealed and fans will be able cast their vote for this exciting new game day addition.
The song will make its debut on Saturday, Sept. 3, when the Red Raiders open the season against Texas State.
