Lady Raider Game Versus Iowa State Selected By ESPN2

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's basketball program added another television appearance for the 2011-12 season Tuesday as the Lady Raiders' Feb. 12 home game versus Iowa State was picked for a 1:30 p.m. tipoff on ESPN2.
The selection marked Tech's fourth television appearance of the year as the Lady Raiders will appear three times on Fox Sports Net as well. The program will also have several games aired on the Texas Tech Sports Network.
The Iowa State game will also serve as Tech's official "Pink Out" promotion in connection with the Play 4Kay organization, which, in connection with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and The V Foundation, helps raise funds for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. More information regarding the game will be released during the season.
The Lady Raiders begin the season Nov. 2 in an exhibition game at Angelo State. Tech will host New Mexico in the regular-season opener Nov. 11 at the United Spirit Arena.
