Strength Training Unit Restructure

As announced by Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt as part of a restructuring of the department, Tory Stephens has been promoted to the position of Director of Strength and Conditioning/Nutrition.
Stephens will provide oversight of programming, staffing and implementation of the strength and conditioning program and serve as a liaison with the head strength and conditioning coaches for football and men's basketball.
"He will also be responsible for nutritional supplementation needs and will work closely with Arnold Gamber, Director of Athletic Training, to provide quality services and care in order to promote optimal performance by our student-athletes," Hocutt said when making the announcement.
As part of the reorganization of the strength and conditioning unit, Katie Munger will assume the role of Associate Director for Strength and Conditioning for Olympic Sports. In addition to her strength and conditioning responsibilities, she will serve as research coordinator and liaison to the Exercise Science department's master's degree program.
