Lady Raider Tennis Earns Highest Preseason Ranking Ever

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Lady Raider tennis team earned its highest-ever preseason ranking this week as the nation's No. 46 team, according to the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings.
The Big 12 Conference has three members in the Top 25 of the ITA Rankings. In all, seven of the 10 Big 12 schools are ranked in the ITA Top 75 Rankings.
The Texas Tech doubles tandem of Kenna Kilgo and Samantha Adams have earned the nation's No. 45 position after the duo went 5-1 in the fall.
In all, the Texas Tech women's tennis schedule features matches against 17 teams ranked in the ITA Top 75.
Texas Tech opens the season at the UCF Invitational in Orlando, Fla. The Red Raiders will play split squad matches with Central Florida and Rice.
