McCracken Holds The Lead In Las Vegas

Sophomore Logan McCracken continues to lead the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters with two rounds in the books and Sunday's third and final round on the horizon.
McCracken, a sophomore from Oklahoma City, fired an even par 72 in today's second round and maintained his two stroke lead over Texas A&M's Tyler Dunlap who also shot even today. If McCracken can hold on, it will mark the first tournament win of his brief Texas Tech career.
As a team, the Red Raiders entered the second round in a tie for eighth place but dropped three spots to 11th after firing a 9-over, 297 today. Texas Tech is just four strokes out of seventh place and a top eight finish in this competitive field would mark a huge resume builder for a young squad.
California leads the tournament at 3-under, 573 while UNLV is second at 3-over, 579.
