LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech (15-3, 5-0 Big 12) jumped two places in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association women's poll to No. 20.
The Lady Raiders made the climb after knocking off a pair of ranked Oklahoma schools last weekend. Texas Tech also jumped in front of Texas A&M in the rankings for the first time in school history, as the Lady Raiders are No. 20 and the Aggies are 21st. In fact, Texas Tech's men (23) and women (20) are ranked higher than Texas A&M's men (25) and women (21).
The Lady Raiders have appeared in every poll this season and have been in the Top 25 since Feb. 22.
Texas Tech will take the week off before traveling to face No. 21 Texas A&M (13-1, 4-0 Big 12) on Apr. 13 and No. 10 Texas (11-5, 4-0 Big 12) on Apr. 15.
