LUBBOCK, Texas - Following a dramatic double overtime victory over No. 20 Long Beach State Friday night, the Texas Tech soccer team will conclude play at the Under Armour Invitational Sunday against host team Cal State Fullerton.
First kick is set for 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Titan Stadium.
The Red Raiders (6-2) picked up their first win over a ranked opponent since 2009 on Friday when freshman Janine Beckie netted the game-winner with 31 seconds remaining in the second overtime period. Tech will now look to put the finishing touches on a perfect weekend when they face the Titans (3-5) who picked up a win over Army 3-0 Friday.
The Red Raiders are in the midst of a season long five-match road trip and will return home Sept. 23 with a home match against New Mexico State.
