Michael Crabtree (WR) San Francisco 49ers
Week 7 Matchup: 49ers-31 Titans-17
Crabtree remains on the injured reserve list and did not play in Sunday's game. Coming off of an NFC championship and Super Bowl appearance, Crabtree enters his fifth season in the NFL, and his fifth with the San Francisco 49ers. During the offseason he suffered a torn Achilles tendon, and underwent surgery to repair the injury. Crabtree Played two seasons at Tech (2007-2008) and was selected as the 10th overall pick 2009 NFL draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
Cody Davis (S) St. Louis Rams
Week 7 Matchup: Rams-15 Panthers-30
Davis continues to be active on special teams but has yet to see action on the defensive side of the ball. He was an Academic All-American and All-Big 12 selection at Tech during his senior season in 2012. He was a four-year letterman with the Red Raiders (2009-2012). Davis signed as an undrafted free-agent with the Rams in 2013.
Seth Doege (QB) Atlanta Falcons
Week 7 Matchup: Falcons-31 Buccaneers-23
Doege remains on the Falcons practice squad. He did not see game action during the preseason, yet participated during training camp. He finished his collegiate career at Tech as the program's third leading passer all-time, trailing only Graham Harrell and Kliff Kingsbury. Doege played four seasons with the Red Raiders (2009-2012).
Dylan Gandy (OL) Detroit Lions
Week 7 Matchup: Lions-24 Bengals-27
Gandy has seen action in all seven games this season at right guard. On Sunday the Lions offense passed for 357 yards behind the Detroit offensive line who didn't allow a sack the entire game. Gandy played four seasons at Tech (2001-2004) and was selected in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts.
Darcel McBath (S) San Francisco 49ers
Week 7 Matchup: 49ers-31 Titans-17
McBath remains on the disabled list and has not played this season. Last season McBath was a member of the 49ers along with fellow Red Raider Michael Crabtree while winning the NFC championship and making a Super Bowl appearance. McBath played in all 16 games last season making two tackles and recovering a fumble. McBath played four seasons at Tech (2005-2008) and was selected in the second round of the 2009 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos.
Manny Ramirez (OL) Denver Broncos
Week 7 Matchup: Broncos-33 Colts-39
Ramirez and the Denver offense faced their first setback on Sunday, but the offense showed few signs of slowing down. Behind the offensive line, the Denver offense piled on 365 passing yards and 429 total yards. Ramirez played four seasons at Tech (2003-2006) and was selected in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.
Louis Vasquez (OL) Denver Broncos
Week 7 Matchup: Broncos-33 Colts-39
Vasquez continues to be a major key to the Denver offensive lines success, starting in all seven games this year. Even after allowing four sacks on Sunday, they still lead the NFL with only nine sacks allowed on the season. Vasquez played four seasons at Tech (2005-2008) and was selected in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers.
LaAdrian Waddle (OL) Detroit Lions
Week 7 Matchup: Lions-24 Bengals-27
Waddle saw limited action in Sunday's game against the Bengals, and has played in four games this year. Along with fellow Red Raider teammate Dylan Gandy, the offensive line allowed the Detroit offense to convert 13 of 19 third downs on Sunday. Waddle played four seasons at Tech (2009-2012) and signed an undrafted free-agent contract in 2013 with the Detroit Lions.
Wes Welker (WR) Denver Broncos
Week 7 Matchup: Broncos-33 Colts-39
For the first time this season Welker did not have a touchdown reception in Sunday night's game against the Colts, but with seven receptions and 96 yards he was far from a non-factor. Late in the fourth quarter on 3rd and 16, quarterback Peyton Manning hit Welker deep for a 24-yard reception that kept the Denver drive alive, making for one of the highlights of the game. Welker played four seasons at Tech (2000-2003) and signed as an undrafted free agent in 2004 with the San Diego Chargers.
