The Red Raiders will play 35 home games at the beautiful Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. The home of Red Raider baseball received a $5 million renovation just two years ago to make it one of the most unique and state-of-the-art on-campus facilities in the country.
Fans will have numerous opportunities to see some of the top programs in college baseball in Lubbock this season. Five of Tech's opponents who travel to Lubbock this season have already received a national preseason ranking in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Top-40 poll, including Indiana (7th), Texas (20th), Kansas State (28th) Oklahoma (32nd), and New Mexico (37th).
The season is just over a month away for the Red Raiders, with Opening Day set for Friday, Feb. 14 against No. 7 Indiana at 2 p.m. The Red Raiders and Hoosiers, who ended last season in Omaha at the College World Series, will open the season with a four-game series in Lubbock.
The Red Raiders home schedule is highlighted by four Big 12 series against No. 20 Texas (Mar. 28-30), defending regular-season champion Kansas State (Apr. 11-13), defending conference tournament champion Oklahoma (April 25-2) and West Virginia (May 15-17).
Season tickets can be purchased online at www.texastech.com or by calling the Texas Tech athletics ticket office at (806) 742-TECH or 1-888-GOBIG12.
