IT'S HOMECOMING IN RAIDERLAND AS TECH HOSTS KANSAS
Texas Tech will host the University of Kansas this Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium where the Red Raiders will be looking for their 53rd all-time win on homecoming. Game time has been set for 2:30 p.m. and tickets are available for purchase online at texastech.com or by calling the athletics ticket office at 806-742-TECH. The Red Raiders enter the match-up with a 2-4 overall record (0-3 in Big 12 play) after dropping a heartbreaker last week against West Virginia. Kansas comes into the game with a 2-4 overall record after falling to Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon in Lawrence. The loss to OSU dropped the Jayhawks to 0-3 in Big 12 Conference play.
Saturday's game will be televised regionally on Fox Sports Net.
Fans will be able to tune to the radio broadcast from the Texas Tech Sports Network on one of 38 affiliates across the region. Brian Jensen returns to the broadcast booth as the play-by-play announcer for his 15th season and is joined by veteran John Harris who will be in his 32nd year of providing analysis. Chris Level rounds out the crew as the sideline reporter and is in his fifth season.

HOMECOMING IN RAIDERLAND
Texas Tech Alumni from all over the world will reconnect in Lubbock this weekend as Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech Alumni Association host Homecoming 2014: Tech Goes Hollywood. Homecoming festivities begin on Monday and last throughout the week leading up to the Pep Rally/Bonfire on Friday and of course Texas Tech's game against Kansas. Texas Tech holds a 52-29-3 all-time record on Homecoming after last year's 42-35 win over Iowa State.
TEXAS TECH AND KANSAS
- Texas Tech and Kansas will be meeting for the 16th time on Saturday afternoon at Jones AT&T Stadium.
- Texas Tech leads the all-time series against Kansas 14-1.
- Texas Tech has won seven consecutive games against Kansas dating back to the 2004 season.
