Jace Amaro caught his first career touchdown reception Sunday in a 31-17 loss to the Denver Broncos. Amaro currently ranks as the NFL's top rookie tight end with 24 receptions for 212 yards so far this season.

Week 6 Matchup: Broncos 31, Jets 17
Amaro caught his first career touchdown Sunday in a 31-17 loss to the Denver Broncos. Amaro's touchdown catch, a 2-yarder from Geno Smith with 4:16 left in the opening quarter, gave the Jets a 7-3 lead early before the Broncos responded with 21 unanswered points. Amaro ended the day with season highs for receptions (10), targets (12), and yards (68) as he was the Jets' leading receiver. Amaro now leads all rookie tight ends in both receptions (24) and yards (212), both categories where he also ranks in the top 10 among all NFL first-year players. Amaro played three seasons at Tech (2011-13) before being drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Week 6 Matchup: Patriots 37, Bills 22
Amendola was not targeted Sunday in New England's 37-22 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Amendola, who has struggled with injuries this season, has caught four passes this year for 23 yards as the Patriots are 4-2 overall heading into Thursday night's primetime game at the New York Jets. Amendola played four seasons at Tech (2004-07) before signing as an undrafted free agent in 2008 with the Dallas Cowboys. He signed with the Patriots prior to the 2013 season after spending the previous four years with the St. Louis Rams.
Michael Crabtree (WR) - San Francisco 49ers
Week 6 Matchup: 49ers 31, Rams 17
Crabtree brought in three receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown Monday night in San Francisco's 31-17 come-from-behind victory over the St. Louis Rams. Crabtree helped break the game open for the 49ers as Colin Kaepernick found him streaking wide open down the middle for a 32-yard touchdown reception. It was the third touchdown in just six games already this season for Crabtree, who has 28 receptions for 295 yards heading into a Sunday night battle this weekend at Denver. The two-time Biletnikoff Award winner played two seasons at Tech (2007-08) before being selected with the 10th overall pick by San Francisco in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Week 6 Matchup: 49ers 31, Rams 17
Davis saw action Monday night in a 31-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers where the Rams led by as much as 14-0 before allowing 24 unanswered points. Davis has played a crucial role for the Rams on special teams so far this season as he has appeared in all five games. He has been inserted in the defensive secondary as well as he previously recovered a fumble on Sept. 21 against the Dallas Cowboys. Davis was a four-year letterman with the Red Raiders (2009-12) before signing an undrafted free agent agreement with the Rams in 2013.
Manuel Ramirez (OL) - Denver Broncos

A week after setting a franchise record with 568 yards of total offense, the Broncos were once again hard to stop in a 31-17 victory over the New York Jets. Denver compiled 359 yards of total offense, including 138 yards of rushing over a Jets defense that statistically ranks among the NFL's best. The Broncos' offensive line, behind two former Red Raiders in Ramirez and Louis Vasquez, ranks among the league's top units as Denver has allowed just six sacks this year. The Broncos are now 4-1 this year heading into a Sunday night battle with the San Francisco 49ers. Ramirez played four seasons at Tech (2003-06) before being selected in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.

Week 6 Matchup: Lions 17, Vikings 3
Waddle made his third start of the season at right tackle Sunday in Detroit's 17-3 victory over the Minnesota Vikings, improving the Lions to 4-2 already this season. Waddle, who missed three games earlier this season following a calf injury, helped the Lions compile 255 yards of offense, including 100 yards on the ground alone. The Lions will face a tough task this Sunday as Detroit hosts the New Orleans Saints in a 12 p.m. CT kickoff on FOX. Waddle played four seasons at Texas Tech (2009-12) before being signed by the Lions as an undrafted free agent.
Wes Welker (WR) - Denver Broncos
Week 6 Matchup: Broncos 31, Jets 17
Welker finished with his lowest offensive performance of the year Sunday as he caught just one pass for seven yards in Denver's 31-17 victory over the New York Jets. Facing one of the toughest defenses in the NFL this season, Denver passed for only 237 yards a week after recording a franchise-record 568 yards of total offense. Welker now has 14 receptions for 126 yards this year in only three games. Now in his 10th year in the NFL, Welker has 855 receptions during his career which is the most ever by an undrafted player in league history. He previously passed former Denver Broncos wideout Rod Smith, who caught 849 passes during his career. Welker is in his second season with the Broncos after spending the previous six years with the New England Patriots. The former Red Raider has totaled an impressive 9,425 yards and 48 touchdowns during his career heading into Denver's home game Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers. Welker spent four seasons at Tech (2000-03) before being signed as an undrafted free agent in 2004 by the San Diego Chargers.
