Men's Golf Finishes 12th At Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate

Texas Tech shot a 2-over, 290 in today's final round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate to finish in 12 place overall at 7-over, 871.
The Red Raiders were led by freshman Hannes Ronneblad who tied for 25th overall at 2-under, 214. Ronneblad's strong play at The Prestige at PGA West as an individual earned him a spot on the five-man team this weekend. He fired round scores of 69, 72 and 73.
Junior Clement Sordet tied for 42nd at 1-over, 217. Henry Todd and Esteban Restrepo tied for 54th overall at 4-over, 220.
As a team, Texas Tech edged out Big 12 opponents Kansas and Kansas State. No. 50 Oregon took home the team title at 27-under, 837.
The Red Raiders return to action March 7-9 at the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas, Nev.
