NO. 25 TEXAS TECH TRAVELS TO NO. 24 TCU
No. 25 Texas Tech (17-6, 1-2 Big 12) continues Big 12 play this weekend with its second straight road series at No. 24 TCU (12-8, 0-0), Mar. 21-23, at Lupton Stadium in Fort Worth. The Red Raiders are opening league action playing back-to-back Big 12 series on the road for the second straight season. Prior to last season Tech had never opened Big 12 play on the road during its first two weekends. The Red Raiders split a non-conference midweek series with Stephen F. Austin in Lubbock. Tech won Tuesday, 20-4, and dropped Wednesday's game, 6-3. Tech looks to snap an eight-game losing streak against the Horned Frogs in Fort Worth while its last win over TCU on the road was in 2005. Tech is 2-2 on the road and 3-4 in games played away from home this season. TCU has won four of its last six and six of its last 10 games while posting an 8-4 record at Lupton Stadium this season. TCU swept a home series against Dartmouth last weekend (4-1, 5-1, 8-0) but enters the weekend after falling 9-5 at No. 30 Oklahoma on Tuesday in Norman, Okla.
