10 a.m. - TEAM PRACTICE
OMAHA, Neb. - Texas Tech went through its final preparations prior to opening the College World Series Saturday morning with a nearly two-hour practice at nearby Boys Town High School.
The Red Raiders, who face TCU at 2 p.m. Sunday in their first game ever at the College World Series, went through batting practice while also working on fielding aspects as well.
It was quite a different day for the Red Raiders as opposed to Friday as Texas Tech practiced without a swarm of media and fans surrounding the field. Instead, the Red Raiders were able to refocus before playing in front of what should be a capacity crowd Sunday at TD Ameritrade Park.
