NCAA Super Regional: Fan Information

Texas Tech will host the College of Charleston in the NCAA Lubbock Super Regional. The winner will advance to the NCAA College World Series in Omaha, June 14-25.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech will host the College of Charleston in an NCAA Super Regional at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park this weekend with a trip to the College World Series on the line.

Fans planning to attend the best-of-three series that begins Saturday at noon should pay close attention to the following stadium and NCAA policies that will be in effect:

Game Times

Saturday: Noon (CT) - ESPNU
Sunday: 2 p.m. (CT) - ESPNU
Monday (If Necessary): Noon - ESPN2

Friday Team Practices

Friday's team practices for both Texas Tech and the College of Charleston are open to the public. Texas Tech will practice from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. while the College of Charleston will work out from 2:45 p.m. until 4:15 p.m.

Tickets

All three games are officially sold out. Tickets will not be available for purchase.

Will Call

Fans who have purchased tickets are encouraged to pick them up in person at the Athletics Ticket Office in Jones AT&T Stadium on Thursday or Friday. Fans unable to pick up tickets in advance can do so at the Rip Griffin Park Will Call starting three hours prior to first pitch. All fans must present a valid ID in order to claim purchased tickets.

General Admission Seating

General admission seating is first-come, first-served. Fans are not allowed to reserve seats, rows or sections. Texas Tech will occupy the first base dugout on Saturday and the third base dugout on Sunday. Monday's dugout designations (if needed) have not yet been determined.

Seat Backs

Seat backs will be permitted in G.A. seating. Seat backs can't be larger than 16" wide and no armrests are allowed.

Stadium Gates

All stadium gates will open two hours prior to first pitch. Bag searches will be conducted at the entry gates and express lanes will be available for those without bags.

Stadium Re-Entry

Once inside the stadium, fans will not be able to leave and re-enter without a new ticket or an NCAA issued credential. The only exception for this policy is for official weather delays.

Parking

Fans who have purchased season parking in lots C-3 and R-23 may uses those passes for the NCAA Super Regional. Parking in non-reserved lots is free. Fans without season parking are encouraged to park in C-1 (Jones AT&T Stadium West) and C-4 (City Bank Coliseum West) and can seek additional parking suggestions from event staff. Fans must park in marked parking spaces to avoid being ticketed or towed.

Umbrellas

No umbrellas will be permitted in the stadium. Please remember to wear sunscreen and hats as the majority of seating in the stadium will not have shade.

Prohibited Items

1. Skates 2. Bicycles 3. Motorcycles 4. Skateboards 5. Artificial Noise Makers 6. Alcohol 7. Ice Chests 8. Outside Food 9. Outside Drink 10. Umbrellas 11. Animals (except service animals) 12. No Smoking in Stadium 13. Firearms are not allowed on Texas Tech University Property (Texas Penal Code Section46). Hand-held still cameras are permitted for personal use. Commercial photography is prohibited.

Official NCAA Merchandise

Official NCAA Super Regional Merchandise will be available for purchase in the grass area behind the 1st base grandstand. Supplies are limited.

Concessions

Concessions stands will be available around the stadium with additional points-of-sale available to accommodate the large crowds.

Inclement Weather

In case of inclement weather that involves lightning, fans will be asked to take cover in their vehicles. Please tune into 104.3 FM for updates or follow @NCAALubbock on twitter. If a game is delayed due to lighting, there will be a minimum 30-minute delay.
